Amandine BONNEAU
She trained at Octave Feuillet in Paris, the only feather craft school in Europe.
Today, she surprises with contemporary works and her unique vision offers lively creations.
She uses feathers as an elusive material, in constant metamorphosis. Whether worked flat or in volume, each gesture is designed to make the feather sparkle with light.
Each work, with its iridescent play of colors, is the setting for a unique experience in which the feather vibrates with the changing light.
Her brand is identified with shimmering colored feathers. Heritage and innovation, craftsmanship and art are at the heart of Méri-Li’s pieces.
In her studio, Amandine teams up with two funny assistants. “Doudou and Poupounette,” her Molina parakeets, accompany her freely throughout the day.

Artistic Approach
“With every glance, each of my paintings and feather sculptures are unexpected journeys of movement and changing colors, depending on the elusive light.
Born from a sketch, the work evolves under my fingers. It is the site of an ever-changing dialogue between the feather, its interaction with light, and my search for movement.
I listen to the feathers vibrate together. It is they, their iridescent colors, and my intuition that guide me at every stage.
Movements form and intertwine. Colors blend, respond to each other, or clash. Volumes come to life.
In this adventure, knowing how to create detail without losing sight of the overall vision is a challenge.
The last feather has found its place. The interplay of colors and textures comes to life before your eyes, creating a unique experience for you.
Feathers
Delicate yet resistant, luminous yet velvety, sensual yet prickly,
feathers are a sublime, wonderful, and precious material with iridescent colors.
Amandine is committed to using feathers that comply with CITES regulations (Washington Convention – 1973), guaranteeing respect for animal welfare and the preservation of species.
